Bankruptcy/DRO Fee Applications
January 23, 2020 8:16 amThe Trust Fund has again been overwhelmed by the number of applications received for help with grants to pay Bankruptcy and DRO fees this year and unfortunately the budget is now oversubscribed.
We regret that any applications received from Monday 20 January, 2020 will not be considered.
Trustees are fully aware that for an increasing number of people in debt, Bankruptcy or a DRO is an answer to their difficulties and that it provides both financial and emotional relief and so this decision is taken reluctantly.
We hope Advisors will understand and continue to apply for all other grants that are available; this suspension only applies to grants for Bankruptcy and DRO fees.
